Ceramic Fiber Bulk
The ceramic fiber bulk product is a high-temperature refractory insulation material composed of high purity alumina and silica raw materials that undergo computerized furnaces to ensure consistency in fiber properties. Fibers are lightweight, chemically inert, and have all the positive characteristics of ceramic fiber. Bulk insulation provides excellent insulation for intricate spaces and parts and forms complex shapes easily for numerous commercial and industrial applications.
The production of ceramic fiber spun bulk takes use of the electric resistance furnace melting method with the characteristics of stable performance, long fiber, strong tensile strength, less shot, excellent thermal stability, clean and white color, etc. It is the optimum material for the production of fiber textile and also the perfect material for sealing, filling, and insulating in a high-temperature environment.Characteristics
- Excellent thermal and chemical stability.
- Excellent thermal shock resistance
- Resilient up to high temperatures
- Lightweight, low heat storage capacity
- Low thermal conductivity
- Excellent sound absorber
- Asbestos-free
Applications
- Raw material of ceramic fiber textile and ceramic fiber products e.g. blanket, paper, board
- Expansion joint seal
- Filling material of wall lining of industrial furnace
- Raw material of wet method products
- Temporary repair of insulation
- Loose insulating fill for complex spaces and areas where access is difficult.
